At the May meeting, which lasted approximately three hours, the city countil approved to extend the time frame for Elena Sharma to remove a building from a property she purchased recently. The council gave her until September. If it is not taken care of by that time, the matter will be revisited at the October meeting. 

​

    Sharma had planned to tear the building down, but was approached by Janet Kiley, who has interest in moving the building to a new location in Staples. The problem is that they are having trouble finding someone to move it.
