Each year in April, volunteers around the country are appreciated in a number of ways. In Todd County, they are honored at the Annual Todd County Council on Aging Volunteer Recognition Dinner.
The day was filled with musical entertainment provided by Tami and the Bachelor by the Great River Regional Library through the Legacy Fund and jokes were told by Hollis Bishop!
A dinner of chicken, roast beef and all the trimmings was served at the Clarissa Ballroom where the event was held.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of a quilt to Charlie Crews (see photo).
There were also several speakers including Rick Hest who updated the attendees on the Hilltop Regional Kitchen which is now up and operating. . . . .
