Three locals arrested during traffic bust
On November 28, the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, Agents from the West Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Force (WCDVOTF) and the Wadena Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 10 and 125th Avenue on a vehicle that was suspected to be involved in Methamphetamine trafficking and sales.
Agents on scene were assisted by Perham Police Department’s K-9, which indicated the presence of drugs inside the vehicle.
Agents and officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located 86 grams of Methamphetamine, Schedule II prescription pills, numerous drug paraphernalia items and $3,100 in cash. The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Wadena County Jail:
Craig LaFlamme (middle), 47, of Perham. Charged with 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Devon Aberle (right), 24, of Dent. Charged with 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Jesse Stockwell (left), 37, of Deer Creek. Charged with 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and False Name and Date of Birth of Another Person. Stockwell also had an active arrest warrant out of Todd County.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the WCDVOTF, Wadena, Perham and Verndale police departments.
The Methamphetamine had a street value of over $8,500.
